The Role

We are in search of an experienced, hands-on Software Architect to help make intuitive high-level decisions for the development of our new international ticketing platform software.

The ideal candidate will be able to see the "big picture" and formulate architectural approaches for software design and implementation that will guide the development team.

A strong technical background and excellent product skills are essential for a great software architect.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise as a software architect.
  • Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
  • Experience in Java development with a strong understanding of the Spring Boot framework.
  • Experienced in building REST API-s.
  • Proficiency in relational databases and/or MongoDB.➢ High quality organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, while also possessing the autonomy to work independently when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as product owners, developers and designers.
  • Create representations for functions and user interface of the desired product.
  • Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
  • Define software conventions and help code up new codebases and establish the patterns used in a project/group-wide
  • Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to the development team.
  • Oversee the progress of the development team to ensure consistency with the initial design.
  •  Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
  • Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
  • Approve final product before launch.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to developers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
