Linnworks provides a cloud-based, multi-channel stock control and order management system - our software integrates with Amazon, eBay, and more than 50 other online sales channels –
to help manage inventory, listing, order dispatch, and many other aspects of the sales process for our customers.
Full-time, Flexible remote working conditions. The employees may choose whether to work from home or office.
However, the employee must reside in Estonia.

The team is international - 250 people globally, 70+ people in Tallinn from 15 countries: Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Shri Lanka, Turkey, etc. 60 % of the office is Russian-speaking.
However, B2+ English is a must-have to participate in calls with the UK office / VP of Engineering
Most of the developers in the company are full-stack. There is a QA team and a Delivery team.
Every product team has a PO, QA plus several full-stack developers. The processes are Agile.
Office located in Aiandi tn. 13, 12918, Tallinn. Flexible remote working conditions.

The Role

Linnworks is looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

Fully remote working with occasional visits to see the team.

The team operates as a full-stack team within a fully agile environment. Core skills within the team are C#, .NET Core, MVC, Microservices, RESTful APIs, Webhooks, Agile, Cloud/AWS/Azure, Javascript, and SQL.

Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • A broad range of experience gained from working in several companies - SaaS/ eCommerce an advantage
  • High attention to detail around coding quality
  • Demonstrable server-side C# development experience
  • .Net Core exposure/experience
  • Microservices
  • RESTful APIs
  • Cloud (AWS/Azure)
  • Database knowledge
  • SOLID principles
  • Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Git repositories
  • SQL

Desirable:

  • Computer Science degree or similar

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing, building and maintaining efficient, reusable and reliable code to meet client objectives
  • Delivering services within a micro-services environment
  • Deploying services to the cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments
  • Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with backend logic
  • Sharing knowledge and mentoring team members
  • Inputting on ways to improve procedures and systems, including process development, software deployment and reporting
  • Monitoring adherence and output
  • Implementing security and data protection measures for web applications
  • Unit tests, integration tests, code reviews and refactoring
  • Assessing and improving site/software performance
  • Working alongside stakeholders to create solutions
